What does the button do?
This button changes the output of the ERA 5 Noise Remover Pro. Enable the button and instead of the processed audio, you listen to the removed noise. This is a good way to monitor the mount of noise that is being removed from the incoming signal.
How does the DIFF button help?
As explained above, with the DIFF button enabled, we can monitor what is being removed. If what you listen contains useful signal,, e.g. a part of the recorded voice, then you might consider lowering the processing amount.
I hear only noise, even if the plugin is working properly. Am I missing something?
When the DIFF button is pressed, you should only listen to the removed noise. There are two indicators that the Diff button is enabled:
- The color of the button changes to red.
- There is a notification on the lower right corner of the Spectral Display that reads: “DIFF button is enabled!”
