I just installed the plugin. What’s next?
Open your favorite host and load the plugin. In case you need extra help, please consult the "How to open ERA Bundle plugins in your DAW or NLE" article.
The first time you open the ERA 5 Noise Remover Pro, you will see the following window:
What do all these controls do?
The most basic controls of the plugin are:
1) The Master Processing knob. This is the main knob! Most of the time, this is the only control you need to process your audio. Use it to adjust the processing applied to the whole signal. The higher the value, the more noise is removed!
2) The bands that are displayed on the Spectral display correspond to frequency sections of the signal. The vertical dividers show the boundaries of each band. The bands allow for fine control of the noise removal process. More information about the specific use of the bands can be found in the article about the Spectral Display.
3) The Hum/Buzz button, located under the INPUT gain slider. This is a dedicated control, targeted at removing a persistent noise type, usually caused by poor groundings in electrical installations, faulty wiring in the audio path, or external electromagnetic interferences. More detailed information about the specific use of this control can be found in our article about the use of the Hum/Buzz control.
4) The Diff button. It allows you to hear exactly how much noise is being removed. This is especially useful when we need to avoid overprocessing. For more details, check out our article about its specific use.
