Big Sur + Intel Processors
Apple released macOS 11 Big Sur on November 12th, 2020.
We are currently testing the release version of macOS 11 (Big Sur) with Intel-based Apple Systems in order to offer full compatibility with our products as soon as possible.
Please note that even though Apple released the beta version of macOS 11 (Big Sur) in August 2020, we ultimately need to ensure that our products are fully compatible with the release version as well.
In the meantime, we would suggest that you refrain from updating your system to ensure that your Host (DAW or NLE) and other plug-ins you might be using are compatible with Big Sur
In some cases, your Mac will update automatically to the newest version of macOS. To prevent this from happening, navigate to System Preferences→Software Update,
and ensure Automatically keep my Mac up to date is unchecked.
Big Sur + Apple Silicon
On November 10th, 2020, Apple announced the release of the first Mac computers to contain Apple Silicon, their new generation of processors.
Although announced at the same time as macOS Big Sur, Apple Silicon processors are an independent release with separate compatibility concerns.
The Compatibility with macOS Big Sur will not yet ensure compatibility with Apple Silicon processors as well.
At the moment, Accusonus products are not supported on computers based on the new generation of Apple processors.
