Download Regroover
You can download Regroover using this link.
Locate the .zip file you have just downloaded and extract it. You can use the default Windows extract feature or your favorite decompression utility.
Installing Regroover
- Double-click the 64-bit file if you want to install the 64 bit version of Regroover
- Double-click the 32-bit file if you want to install the 32 bit version of Regroover
After double-clicking the file, you will be greeted by the Windows User Account Control screen, unless you have disabled it.
Click Yes to continue
Accept the agreement and click Next >
In this menu you can select to install everything or to skip some items that you don't need. For example, if you don't have Pro Tools installed, it is safe to un-tick the installation option for the AAX format.
When you are ready click Next >
In this screen, the default location for all VST plug-ins has already been entered for you automatically, but if you want to use a custom folder location you can click Browse... and enter your custom location.
Note: It is strongly recommended to leave this at the default Windows system location for plug-ins.
Ready to install!
Click Install
Give it a minute...
Done!
Click Finish to exit.
...Not quite there yet
As you may know Regroover is a virtual instrument plug-in, so after installation there is no way to run Regroover as a standalone app.
Instead you will need a hosting application that supports the VST or AAX format in order to use Regroover.
Some common DAW hosting applications that can run Regroover:
- Ableton Live
- Presonus Studio One
- Cockos Reaper
- FL Studio
- Avid Pro Tools
- Bitwig
- Propellerhead Reason
