On macOS and Windows, DaVinci Resolve supports third-party VST audio plug-in effects. On macOS, DaVinci Resolve also supports AU (AudioUnit) plug-ins effects.
Once you have installed ERA Bundle plug-ins (see here for the installation instructions) in your system, DaVinci Resolve will automatically recognize and include them in the Effects Library.
After the installation completes, open DaVinci Resolve and click the Effects Library button, located on the top left corner.
A list with all the available effects will open at the bottom left corner. Go to Audio FX list and select the preferred format, VST Effects or AU Effects.
A new list with all the available plug-ins will open next to it. Scroll until you find the plug-in you want. You can also use the Search option for quicker results.
I opened DaVinci Resolve, but I cannot find the plug-ins. What can I do?
In general, this is a rare case, but if you opened DaVinci Resolve and cannot see the plug-ins, follow the procedure below:
a) Go to DaVinci Resolve menu > Preferences > Audio Plug-ins tab. The following window will open.
b) Under the VST Effects section, locate the installation path of ERA plug-ins:
macOS: /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST
Windows: C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins\Accusonus
c) Under the Available Plugins section, make sure that ERA plug-ins are available and Enabled.
d) Click Save and restart DaVinci Resolve to apply the changes.
