De-essing is any technique intended to reduce or eliminate the excessive prominence of sibilant consonants, such as the sounds normally represented by "s", "z", "ch", "j" and "sh", in voice recordings.
ERA De-Esser and ERA De-Esser Pro are both plug-ins from the Audio Repair family, intended for precision-grade de-essing, fast and easy. Both plug-ins are based on the same algorithm, with the basic difference noticed only in the available features.
