Factory Presets
ERA De-Esser Pro comes with a selection of factory presets that will help you find an effective starting point, depending on the case and the type of audio that you need to repair.
To load a preset, click the Preset button. The presets menu will open with all available presets. Click on a menu item to load that preset.
To navigate through the presets, click on the little arrow buttons on each side of the preset button. This will load the previous or next preset in the menu. The preset button shows the name of the current preset.
If you have changed the loaded preset by adjusting at least one parameter, an asterisk will appear next to the name, indicating that the preset has been modified.
Custom Presets
Apart from the factory presets, you can also create your own presets and store them in the presets folder. This is a good way to copy settings across multiple instances of ERA De-Esser Pro in a session, or when starting a new session that you already know that a specific setting will be used.
To save a Custom preset, click the preset button, and click Save as..
The Save dialog box will appear. Type a name for the new preset and click OK to finish.
Custom presets will remain stored in your system until you delete them, even if you uninstall the ERA De-Esser Pro plug-in.
Presets Storage
All the presets for ERA De-Esser Pro are stored in separate files with the .xml extension. XML files are compatible both in Windows and macOS systems. This means that it is very easy to transfer or share your presets with other users.
The default location of the preset folder is:
Windows: C:\User\Documents\Accusonus\ERA-Bundle 4\Presets\De-Esser Pro
OSX: ~/Documents/Accusonus/ERA-Bundle 4/Presets/De-Esser Pro
Note: If you move the presets out of this folder, De-Esser Pro plug-in will not be able to locate the presets the next time you open the plug-in.
