You loaded the plugins and your favorite audio/video editor crashed. What’s next?
First, you should take a look at the permissions required for the plugins to be fully functional. To do so, go to the following locations:
C:\ProgramData\Accusonus\ERA-Bundle 6\(ERA-Plugin Name)\
C:\Users\(Your Username)\Documents\Accusonus\ERA-Bundle 6\
To check what is allowed (what are your user’s permissions) for the folders, right-click on the folder “Resources” for the first location, and the folder “Presets” for the second location, and select “Properties”.
Under the “Security” tab, select your user, and the groups it belongs to (i.e. Administrators), and check to see if the user has all permissions set to “Allow”. This should be done for both users.
My permissions are set to “Deny”
If your user is not set to have permissions for those folders there are two options:
- If your device is managed (i.e. a corporate device), please ask your system administrator to grant permissions for these folders to your user.
- If your device is a personal one, click the edit button above the permissions list, and select “Allow”, for all checkboxes, and finally click “OK”.
I did everything, what do I do next?
The process might take a bit of time to be completed. Once it is finished, return to your audio/video editor, and start using the plugins!
